Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things that make me happy.

I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, or buy to fool myself into thinking I’m being productive when I’m really just procrastinating. Here’s a big list of all of my favorite stuff.

Workstation

  • 13” MacBook Air, M4, 24GB RAM (2025)

A lightweight, portable MacBook with extra RAM and the best chip on the market. Who cares if it's not a pro.

  • Neo80 Keyboard

I use this thing all day, every day, might as well have a nice one. It has a bronze plate and heavy as a brick so I can also use it as a weapon if needed.

Development tools

  • Neovim

Ever since adopting Claude Code as my AI tool of choice, I've immersed myself more into the terminal.

  • Ghostty

Fast, GPU-accelerated and native. It pairs nicely with Neovim and gets out of my way.

Productivity

  • Obsidian

A note taking app that does not care about folder structures, one day after enough backlinking I'll behold my graph view and die in peace.

  • Claude Code

I find myself more and more gravitating to Claude code for a lot of my work. MCPs have only accelerated it. It's a brave new world.
